End User/System Administrator Classroom Training
Course Description
This three day course offering is designed to provide users of the nGenius Performance Management system the opportunity to study and problem solve real-world issues within a production level network environment. This course examines the best practice approach to the use of real time and historical data, packet analysis capabilities and reporting mechanisms of the nGenius Performance Manager system to manage and monitor network performance. End users of the nGenius Performance Management system will become actively engaged in the creation of system configurations that profile network traffic on monitored segments, establish baselines for bandwidth capacity and enable alarm conditions to track network and application usage.
A significant portion of the course is dedicated to provide users with hands-on experience in using best practice approaches to resolving problems with network and application performance. Users will receive valuable experience and understanding of the use the nGenius Console real time/historical data views as well the on-demand and scheduled reporting mechanisms of the system. A variety of example case studies will be presented throughout the course to ensure that users receive significant practical, hands-on experience and return to their environments with a new perspective on the breadth of problem solving and planning that the nGenius Performance Management System affords.

Analyze VoIP traffic behaviors on shared network facilities to include utilization and volume statistics as well as potential sources of delay related to QoS.
